Past Meeting April 21

Topic:  Chiron

Our esteemed guest Spencer Grendahl offered his views on Chiron and on what to look for in the coming year.

Spencer has published books on a wide range of topics from palmistry to astrology.  He has lectured at astrological conferences and other New Age gatherings. He plays the bamboo flute when doing guided imagery, and has taught meditation and stress reduction seminars throughout California. Appearances on radio and TV shows has brought his insights to a wide audience.

Spencer is very experienced in the entertainment planning of corporate and charity events such as banquets, convention booths, hospitality suites, fund raising and product promotion. On occasion, he performs in costume as a psychic entertainer, demonstrating his amazing metaphysical skills. He has become a favorite personality at many private, business, and social festivities.

As a former English teacher, Spencer has worked on teaching writing, public speaking, and educational planning. A published novelist and a script writer with one produced movie to his credit, many turn to him for his perspective on writing projects.   For more information on Spencer, see:

So kick up your heels and join us for an evening of esoteric fun, spontaneous predictions, and enjoyable enlightenments.

We want to thank and congratulate our chapter members and supporters who turned out in terrible weather conditions to celebrate the life of our friend and colleague Robert Blaschke, and give witness to International Astrology Day.  It showed that astrologers of all viewpoints and schools of thought can come together and bond in fellowship.  It reminds one of Shakespeare's words "we few, we band of brothers (and sisters)."

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague Kent O'Dell.  Kent had a long career in the movies starting as a child actor.  He was a very excellent psychic, and a great raconteur.  We will miss him.

Chapter member dues of $15.00 a year are due.  This does not apply to NCGR members, who pay $55 a year. The advantage of NCGR membership is receipt of NCGR publications. Dues are used to pay our speakers and maintain our mailing list, and pay our chapter expenses.

If anyone has suggestions for speakers or activities, feel free to call any of our officers.
